Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-08-04

1. Who provides this service

Master Lens (master-lens.com) is operated by 創易整合行銷有限公司, a company registered in Taiwan (business registration no. 53687872).

By using the service you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

2. What the service does

The service provides AI tools for generating portrait photography, including business headshots, editorial portraits, couple and wedding series, and a professional photographer’s workspace (Pro).

This is a creative tool and results vary. We work hard on quality and consistency, but we do not guarantee that every generation will match your expectations.

We may add, change or discontinue features. Where a discontinued feature affects something you have paid for, we will give notice and offer a reasonable remedy.

3. Accounts

The service is for people aged 18 or over.

Keep your login details secure. Actions taken through your account are treated as your own.

If you use the service on behalf of a company or team, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for them.

4. Photos you upload, and subject consent

When you upload a photo you must declare its source grade, and you are responsible for that declaration:

· Yourself or an authorised client — the person in the photo is you, or you have their consent to use their likeness in this service.

· Virtual model — a fictional person generated by this service, corresponding to no real individual.

· Third-party work (reference only) — a photo for which you hold no likeness rights. Under this grade, directions involving reduced clothing or intimate interaction are never available.

You represent and warrant that you hold the rights necessary for every photo you upload, and that its use does not infringe any third party’s likeness, copyright or other rights.

You must not upload photos of minors for any adult or intimate generation.

If a third party brings a claim against us because of content you uploaded, you are responsible for handling it and for indemnifying us against resulting loss.

5. Rights

You keep the rights in the original photos you upload. We process them only as necessary to provide the service.

For images you generate with the service, we grant you a worldwide, sublicensable right of use, including commercial use.

We retain copyright in the service itself, including the interface, prompt engineering, style recipes, and the scene and pose catalogues. You may not reverse engineer, extract or reproduce these assets.

We will not use your photos or generated results in marketing material without your separate consent. The example imagery on this site was generated by us using our own virtual models.

6. Credits and payment

The service runs on credits. The credit cost of each action is as published on the pricing page.

Credits are deducted at the moment an action runs, and the result is produced immediately. That immediacy is the factual basis for the cooling-off exclusion in our Refund Policy — please read it together with these terms before purchasing.

Card payments in Taiwan are processed by ECPay; payments elsewhere are processed by Stripe.

If prices change we will give notice beforehand; changes do not apply retroactively to credits already purchased.

7. What you must not do

· Upload photos of other people that you have no right to use.

· Generate images intended to impersonate a specific real person, or for fraud, defamation or other unlawful purposes.

· Generate sexual content involving minors.

· Access the service by automated means at scale, or circumvent credit metering.

· Resell or sublicense the service, or use it to offer a substantially identical service to others — except where you are a Pro user producing work for your own photography clients.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, without refunding credits already used.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. Except as expressly stated here, we make no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

That limit does not apply to loss caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

Disputes are subject to the Taiwan New Taipei District Court as court of first instance, without prejudice to any rights a consumer may assert under the Consumer Protection Act.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. Revisions take effect when published on this page, and the “last updated” date above is changed accordingly.

If a revision materially affects something you have paid for, we will also notify you by email.
